Anna Burton has over 20 years of beading experience that began early in her teenage years. She began working in a bead shop just out of college and was introduced to the intricate world of bead weaving and bead embroidery. She taught classes at the bead shop as well as authored designs and tutorials for class projects. She began competing internationally with her beadwork in 2013, most notably in an online international competition from 2013 – 2015 (Battle of the Beadsmith).
She is currently a member of the Embroiderer's Guild of America (Knoxville Chapter), and has been a member of the Capital Area Beading Organization (Raleigh, NC), serving as the project coordinator for 2 years.
