Lindsay is native of Pennsylvania, both parents encouraging creativity. A graduate of Westminster College, earning a degree in Art Education, she taught art in the public schools in Lancaster, PA for several years. After marrying and moving to TN, she began a studio artist career in printmaking. Silk-screen prints were her forte... serigraphs were a medium for experimenting and playing with layers...she loves layers! Deciding to return to a university program, she began studying Graphic Design and Illustration at the University of Tennessee taking every elective she could in Photography. Accepting a position at the University, she spent 18 years working at the McClung Museum photographing and designing in-house projects. After retirement, fine art photography has become her focus.
