Golden God


The moment the world saw Robert Plant take the stage for the first time with his golden mane, tight pants and bare chest, the image of what it meant to be a rock n’ roll star was defined forever. 

Decades later writers for magazines still pen volumes about the Led Zeppelin frontman. It was articles written by journalists all over the world that gave way to his label of “Golden God”. The world, it seems, just can’t get enough of that hair. 

My love for Led Zeppelin aside, Robert Plant in particular has always fascinated me. What must it be like to be the measure of something as large as a rock star? And what in the world does he use on that hair?

I chose gold of course for his status as a Golden God due to his long mane of curly blond hair. The blue represents his eyes and the sea I find myself lost in when he sings so many songs like Kashmir. Golden God is available at
