Diana Ross is unarguably the jewel in the crown of Motown music. She’s the leader of one of the most successful girl group of all time, The Supremes. Her long list of accomplishments also include induction into The Rock n’Roll Hall of Fame and a staring role in Lady Sings the Blues in which she portrays legendary singer Billie Holiday. She’s still the same stunning beauty who burst onto the scene in 1959. I chose to paint her because she is such an icon in music history, not to mention she’s absolutely gorgeous. Her symmetrical proportions and features just begged to be painted. I chose red, black, white and gray because her beauty is timeless and her passion still burns hot as fire.
