With all the mental pictures of barns I have in my mind, the actual pictures of barns I have taken, I have a multitude of ideas for barn drawings to call upon. This drawing is one of those I created from many sources. The wooden shingles, dual cupolas, stave silo, interior structure, wooden gates/fences, are but a few of the features I included in this drawing.

This is a pen and ink drawing of the small barn located on property that abuts the No. 2 Fairway at Egwani Farms Golf Course. I have passed this barn many a time while playing golf at Egwani Farms Golf Course. Many golfers may not realize the barn is even there. The barn is small, and in good shape. I felt I needed to include this barn in my drawing collection.

The windmill is a ”Field Sentinel” standing watch over an empty farmstead. Imagine everything associated with a farm is gone…the family that once lived on this farm, the farm house, the farm animals, out-buildings, and the equipment. Nothing but open farmland.
